Run from from Lands End to John O'Groats

Story
Jo Kerr and Liz Kirkham are both running the distance, as the Crow flies, from Lands End to John O'Groats. It's 606 miles. They will do all the running together around the local area and will aim do it in the year. They are both taking part in the Great South Run and the 10 miles from this will be included as part of this run. Its truly amazing of Jo and Liz to do this, all sponsorship raised will go towards Angelas Tribute Fund. 80 miles to go!
7th September 2014Jo and Liz have made an amazing effort and have less than 80 miles to go to complete their challenge! The Great South Run will be their final run of 10 miles. The girls have put in an amazing effort to mount up this many miles. Thank you again Xxx
Over 43 miles run so far
15th February 2014Jo and Liz have run over 43 miles so far, in all weathers including hail. They are really beginning to mount up the miles even in the difficult weather we are having, really amazing effort
The Race has started!
21st January 2014Jo and Liz did their first run on 4th January and ran 3 miles.
Jos comment 'Day 1, only 602 miles to go!!'
They ran another 3 miles on the 5th Jan and 4 miles on the 19th so have made a good start.
Sponsorship has started to come in and is over £200 already!

Big thanks to all the parents and staff who contributed to the great total of £259.64 being donated in support of Liz and jo's mammoth effort during collections held at the school sports day, and strawberry fair. I know the girls appreciate the backing and support. it is warmly welcomed by Jo's Trust charity in memory of a very special lady ANGELA TUGWELL.
